Welcome to the NCAECT 2008 Conference Wiki

SHIFT HAPPENS:  Gear Up With Technology      March 12-14, 2008 - and beyond!

 Embassy Suites  Concord, NC

**NOTE TO PRESENTERS**

If you would like to have your handouts or relevant session links added to your concurrent session description, please email the information to techtieswiki@gmail.com

Another great NCAECT - now NCTIES- conference thanks to Scott and his pit crew!

We had over 1300 people in attendance physically and about 200 virtual attendees from all over the world thanks to Twitter, UStream, and Skype.

We'll be updating the wiki to include direct links to sessions that were recorded.  Check back early next week or go directly to the UStream channels to view the videos.

During the conference, the idea of building a professional learning network kept finding its way into conversations.  We've started a Skype chat, "NC Tech Ed Chat", to help keep the conversations going.  Use this chat as a means to connect, share ideas, and ask for assistance from Ed Tech teachers and professionals across the state and beyond.

To join follow the link:  NC Tech Ed Chat

After you've joined, when you want to close the chat, click on the "X" to close.  If you click leave chat, this takes you out forever.

Check out the impact Twitter had on the conference.  Go to TweetScan and search for NCAECT.
