Beyond the Shoebox: Using Virtual Realties to Build Learning Environments
Presenters share their experience using QWAQ, a type of virtual reality software, with a group of middle school students. Sixth graders created interactive virtual learning spaces that addressed problems associated with the concept “Revolution” in European history. These student-created spaces were then used as interactive teaching environments for their classmates.
